A Community Effort: PCRM Comes to the North Carolina Triangle: PYP 293

This weekend, the Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) is bringing its big guns to my neck of the woods, the Triangle region of North Carolina (Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill).

Neal Barnard, Suzy Cameron Amis, Eric O'Grey, and others will be bringing their messages of hope and inspiration and information to my community. But PCRM also highlights local heroes – the folks who do good work in this community every day.

I connected with four of these local heroes for today's episode:

Queenetta Moore is a return Plant Yourself guest. She's the founder of 21 Days to Plant-Based, which teaches, guides, and support folks in their initial transition to a plant-based diet.

Dilip Barman is a PCRM Food for Life instructor, and a long-time leader in the Triangle Vegetarian Society.

Jonathan Sheline is a plant-based physician with a lifestyle medicine practice in Durham, NC.

Parul Kharod is a registered dietitian in the Wake-Med Health System.

Enjoy!

Enjoy, add your voice to the conversation via the comment box or audio recording box below, and please share – that's how we spread our message and spread our roots.
