I learned a new word today: “knobology.” I got it from the book The Art of Is, by Stephen Nachmanovitch, which is all about applying the principles of improvisation to life.

Knobology is the ability to turn the knobs of your own behavior in real time, in response to changing life circumstances. It's the opposite of rigid adherence to a prescribed plan with no freedom to deviate.

In this video, I talk about how to “knobologize” around your health habits, and what real-time data to pay attention to as you seek to make the best choices in every situation.
