Often a coaching client will end a session by saying, “Wish me luck” after setting a goal and making a plan to achieve it.
In health coaching, this phrase is a huge red flag that the client is going to fail.

If you're trying to change your habits and you hear a voice in your head asking for luck, then you're not going to make the changes you want.
